Seeing stars…

We love this time of year where the winter constellations are beginning to appear and we can get some good observation time in at a reasonable hour! The three major constellations in the night sky during the winter months are Orion, Taurus and Canis Major. Once these are located, highlights such as the Orion Nebula, Sirius in Canis Major and Aldebaran in Taurus can be seen. We’re keen to welcome guests for either week long stays or short breaks to make the most of our beautiful night skies in one of the best astronomy months of the year.
